Keep an eye out for the finished product. I will update you once they are completed.

    April 18, 2018 by misstimmins

We have had a wonderful two days at Grendon Hall and I’m sure your children will tell you all about it (if they are not already asleep).

All the children were amazing throughout the whole residential so you should be very proud of them.

We would like to share some of the photographs we took over the past two days and I look forward to catching up with your tomorrow morning.

  5. Easter Egg Hunt

    March 29, 2018 by misstimmins

This morning the Easter Bunny arrived at Abington Vale Primary School and set the year 2 children a challenge.

We all took part in an Easter egg hunt with a twist. We had 6 eggs to find around the playground but on each egg was a maths questions that we had to solve. The Easter Bunny also left us some treats to collect along the way.

  7. Rubble and Chase’s Picnic

    March 9, 2018 by misstimmins

Today we explored fractions by helping Rubble and Chase share the food in their picnic basket.

We started by sharing the food out equally by exploring fractions of shapes and quantities whilst working practically using the picnic resources.

The Rubble gave us another message that two of his friends were coming to join him so we had to think about how we could share the picnic between 4 people.

  8. Buddy’s Work out

    February 23, 2018 by misstimmins

Today we completed our sponsored obstacle course.

The children took part in 4 events and recorded their results. Look out for these results in book bags next week.

Buddy has extended the return date so it’s not too late to hand in your sponsor forms.

  10. Speak out and stay safe

    February 7, 2018 by misstimmins

Today we had a visit from a member of the NSPCC team. A lady came to talk to us about keeping ourselves safe and who we could talk to if we were feeling unsafe. We will be carrying out a sponsored circuit in one of our PE lessons after half term to raise money for the charity. You will find sponsor forms in book bags tonight. Sponsor forms need to be returned to school on the 22nd February.
